just now went to my grandfather's house around 3.30 pm..he had an accident so visited him to make sure that he is okay. And yeah he was okay, he had an injury on his leg but the injuries recovered so fast beyond belief. Maybe he did not have cronic diseases such as diabetes which hinders the healing process. Anyways alhamdulilllah hes fine....i've been quite worried abt him since this is not the first ttime he had involved with an accident, but the second time. and i think the injured foot was also the same. haizzz hope he will be more careful next time :)

around 5.15, we left granpa's house and went straight to shing shiong supermarket which was near to bedok mrt. Bought few groceries there...and yea..brought some tid bits..biskut jepun and corned mutton!! ehehe..my faves :)

just now received an sms stating that the skool demands us to settle all outstanding fees be4 receiving our syahadah's and btw, the syahadah costs do dollars..mak kau!! ehehe..its ex to me... :0

today went out at around 10.16 am. went to meet my old arabiah fren kat bugis. Mula2 gi national library, then wetalked abt many things, mostly abt arabiah. Well, two years since i've left the sch..many things happen ,many changes have taken place . Mostly are good, but there are those which are bad too..and i couldnt elaborate on the bad ones further becos it would damage the reputation of the parties involved.

btw, the good changes are namely that the school has a new leader aka the principal..fogot the name ehehehe but hes much better than the previous one, thast what i heard...hes from muiz and seems like he has a strong vision for the school. so welcome to the sch mr principal! hope u'll enjoy ur stay there and pls dun leave the sch :)


then we tlked talked and talked pastu we went to Kinokuniya bookstore. Bought 3 books, Twilight Newmoon and A thousand splendid suns!! sooo happy!! ehehe....

afta then we went to arabiah, missed most of the teachers there...missed thier freindliness and warmth..misssed everything abt them. So we talked with them for a few mins altho we have left the school, they are still as concerned abt our future studies like before..they even gave us countless advices abt career options and overseas studies etc. Love them so much...they truly made my day when i was studying in Arabiah :) even though our meeting was only for just a few minutues, it was a very meaningful meeting. Thier undying courage and strength to continue teaching in arabiah despite the problems surrounding the school made me sad, but at the same time i'm proud of them, and of theri sacrifice. They are like our unsung heroes...ehehehehe.

sorry for rambling too much on this post. Yeah some pple might not agree with some of the statements mentioned above. But we were once arabiah students, the longest living ones i would say( since i completed my study years there withoyt even thinking of moving to other schools) so nobody knows more abt things in arabiah better then we the students do.

really wanna watch Ponyo!! i've been saying this for almost a week or two..tapi tak tertgk2...alas, my fren gave me the link to watch it online..cuma blom ade mood nak tgk pulak..ehehe...btw to those whi dunt know..Ponyo is a Japanese anime mive which has started its showtime earlty this yr

synopsis:

Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is Miyazaki's own unique take on Hans Christian Anderson's tale, "The Little Mermaid". It tells the story of a young girl fish who defies her father's wishes and beliefs about the human world to live with the boy she loves. After covertly travelling to the surface by jellyfish, Ponyo becomes stranded near a house on a seaside cliff, where she is found and rescued by a human boy named Sosuke. Sosuke names her Ponyo, and takes her to his school in a bucket, and shows her to the little old ladies who live in the nursing home where his older sister, Lisa, works. Imajine Sosuke's surprise when Ponyo speaks, and tells him that she likes him!

It isn't long before Ponyo's father, Fujimoto, discovers her missing, and goes looking for her. Fujimoto is a kindly, yet somewhat xenophobic sea wizard, who oddly enough goes about in human form. He recovers Ponyo and returns to the sea with her, much to Sosuke's distress. He gives Ponyo a good talking to, but is disconcerted when she not only defies him, but begins to transform herself into a human. Fujimoto uses his magic to stop her, and essentially imprisons her.

On the surface, there is a bittersweet moment when Sosuke and Lisa find out that their father, a crewman on a ship, is unable to return home that day. This leads to a series of testy messages from Lisa, delivered by Aldis lamp, but Sosuke manages to cheer her up, though he is still desolated by Ponyo's disappearance.

Ponyo's sisters, meanwhile, free her from Fujimoto's prison and help her to steal some of their father's magic, so that she can complete her transformation and escape to the surface. This has an immediate knock-on effect of causing a heavy sea storm above. In the midst of this storm, Ponyo and Sosuke are happily reunited. There follows a series of humorous vignettes with Ponyo not-quite-managing to learn to act human, mainly by copying Sosuke. In the morning, however, they discover that the town is flooded, and the citizens have had to take to boats. Ponyo helps Sosuke find a boat, and the two set off to find Lisa, who had left during the storm.

The effects of Ponyo's stolen magic cause progressively worse effects, including knocking the moon out of its orbit. This eventually compells Ponyo's mother, a gentle giantess, to intervene and set things right. Sosuke and Lisa are re-united, but Ponyo is again recaptured and returned to fish form. This leads to a meeting between Sosuke and Ponyo's mother, where she gently asks him if he can still love Ponyo, even though she is a fish. Sosuke assures her that he loves Ponyo, no matter what her form is, and Ponyo's mother allows her to remain with Sosuke, which Fujimoto also grudgingly accepts.

REMARKS

In tone and style, "Ponyo" clearly springs from the same mind as "Totoro". CGI was minimized for this production, with Miyazaki instead opting for a brightly-colored, hand-drawn look that well suits the story's plot and characters. Miyazaki has lost none of his ability to create otherworldly environments - imagine the forest from Nausicaa, except underwater and populated by fantastic sea creatures rather than giant insects - and leaves even older viewers spellbound by his mastery of his art.

Also completely intact is Miyazaki's ability to tell a simple, charming tale that tugs gently on the viewer's heartstrings, and leaves one feeling younger than when they had entered the cinema. Miyazake is starting to show his age, but with Ponyo, as with his other films, he has left a beautiful, timeless legacy that will doubtless endure for generations.

days ago..while i was blog-hopping..i found this game character on opne of my cousins blogskin...His name is Genesis Rhapsodos, from Final fantasy. I fall in love with hime at first sight! haha..ok i knoe he's non human but still...he looks like human right?

his (the character's) face kinda reminds me og Gackt..a very popular j-rocker..and now i knew that this Genesis Rhapsodos was creted based on himself!! and he also voiced the character in the final fantasy ..just for ur info if u are interested. Btw's heres his picture wearing Genesis Rhapsodo's costume..:)



well hes handsome..but not as handsome as the game character itself!! hahahaha....ok i know i;m wierd

well..not feeling quite well today..i vomitted two times last night. Dunno exactlt why..maybe becos i ate raw chicken laa i think..or rather a half-cooked chicken..haizz i'm not a lion nor a cannibal soo....ehehe) ansd till troday my stomach hyrts a lil bit, just hope i won't vomit again..cos it sucks...dun like it..to me vomitting is the most uncomfortable thing ...i'd rather have diarrhoea than having to vomit, i now both are bad..but its still better right?
