Happiness is an attitude.
The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today. Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary. After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready. As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window. "I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy. "Mrs. Jones, you haven't seen the room .... just wait." "That doesn't have anything to do with it," she replied. "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn't depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I arrange my mind. I already decided to love it ... It's a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I'll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away ... just for this time in my life."

A koala, nicknamed Sam, was saved from the fires in Gippsland. His two upper paws were burned in the falmes. He is being cared for at the Mountain Ash Wildlife Center in Rawson 170 kilometers east of Melbourne
a thirsty koala had a gulp of water from a rescuer. Notic that it was holing the rescuers hand. Me thinking he must be very thankful to be saved from the fires...poor animal :(

recently just finished watching "one litre of tears" , a japanese drama based on a true story. It tells the hardshops and sacrifices of a girl named aya since she was diagnosed with a degenarative brain disease called spinocerebellar ataxia at which the disease would affect her balance and speech abilities gradually. The disease causes the person to lose control over their body, but because the person can retain all mental ability the disease acts as a prison. Aya discovers this disastrous news as the disease has already developed. There is no cure.It was very sad especially for the fact that she got the disease at a very young age. But she had a fighting spirit and never gave up so she continued to write a diary until the day she could no longer hold a pen. She died 10 yrs after the diagnosis of her disease.in 1988.at the age of 25. her idary was published a few years before her death, its entitled "i rittoru no namida" whcih means one litre of tears.a diary whioch aya named it herself. heres the cover of the book..

dunno why..but i feel that the cover reflects the mood of the writer...a schoolgirl who sees a bright future ahead of her..but in the end have to surrender to god's fate and live in a realm of sadness and blues..
heres the ost of the drama..love it..so nice...actually it remindds me of one of aliff aziz's song. could this be the original version of it?
"live life without regrets" was what my bro said..which i think is true :)

who am i?why am i like this
i always feel that i dun behave like otehr gurls my age
i'm sooo boring for a person
haizz
whenever i feel cheerful and lively
i always felt that there will be some pple who dun want to see me happy
well, its just a thought
but sometimes what i've seen with my own eyes seems to suggest that
but maybe i'm overly concious with myself
and i shouldnt think too much of what other thought about me
haizz...i'm so depressed, and confused
am i being fake?
am i being untrue to myself?
